Jennifer Lawrence is proving why I should have never written off this shoe style.
Last month, the actress strolled around New York City in a reliable pair of moccasins, which I haven’t worn since the seventh grade. They appeared to be made of leather, with matching laces tied in a bow.
Now that I’m older and wiser, I realize moccasins are pretty close to perfection: They have the class of loafers, the comfort of sneakers, and when made with lighter materials, they’re not as warm and fuzzy as a pair of winter boots.

I have no hard feelings toward warm slippers, but traditional moccasins always made my feet a little too hot. Thankfully, these Minnetonka Moccasins don’t have any faux fur, so they’re more appropriate for 80ish-degree weather. Plus, they closely match Lawrence’s pair.
